Tips for your application
Companies can make a better offer and are more likely to respond if you make a well-defined request. Below are some tips for a good application.

Provide a good title
Briefly and concisely describe your request to the carrier here. A good title contains three elements:
- The type of request. For example, "transport sailboat," "fulfillment for web store," or "transport dog.
- Describe what is to be transported. Be specific. So not "animal" but "labrador. Other examples: '9-meter sailing yacht' or 'Antique cabinet'
- The destination (and possibly the drop place). A carrier may also see this in the application but we recommend mentioning it in the title as well. Examples: 'Tractor to northern Spain', 'Painting to London' or 'Cargo of ornamental stones from Heeg to Bussum'
Some examples of good titles:
- Full truckload of scrap iron from Hoorn to Arnhem
- Two horses from Almere to Greece
- Fulfilment party for web store in batteries
- Refrigerated transport in the Hague area for meat
Because the title already largely says what needs to be done, a business with the relevant expertise is more likely to click through.
Object details
In a few questions, briefly give the specification of what is to be transported. This is relevant for the company to get an idea of whether he can accept the order. Be precise about dimensions and weight. Include any special details.

Specifications of your order
This is the most important part of your application.
Of course, you should specify the loading and unloading location. In some cases, it is important to provide additional information here. Is the place accessible to a truck? Is there a crane or forklift available?
In addition, describe the goods in detail. Are they on a pallet? Are they in boxes? Exactly how big is the sofa set? How many boxes are involved in the move? Are there any other details?
Furthermore, in the text box provided, describe your job in detail once again and mention everything that has not already been covered above. In this way, you not only create clarity for the courier, you also get a clear picture of the job yourself.
It is important to describe very clearly and in detail exactly what you expect from the carrier. Rather give too much information than too little. That way, there is no need for a lot of additional contact and the professional can get to work right away. This costs less time and therefore you less money. In addition, you can expect better quotes/response.
Contact details
You will be asked to provide at least the following contact information:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number. In this way, the carrier can ask questions directly to you. Experience shows that this substantially increases the speed and quality with which the transport request is carried out.
We treat this data with great care. Your contact information is visible only to affiliated companies that have been screened by us.
After you have placed an application, we highly recommend always reading through the Safe Business article.
