As the name suggests, we understand by express transport all transport that can (and must) be carried out quickly. Within the Netherlands we often talk about same day transport, and within Europe within 24 hours. Quick transport is often slightly more expensive than regular transport. A transport company that can do this is often called an express courier.

- Often you can call the express courier and they can be at your door within two hours. Many urgent couriers work with a nationwide network. Where you are in the Netherlands then does not matter.
- A separate trip is often driven for your shipment. This makes the ride a lot more expensive than if your shipment is combined with other shipments.
- A mileage fee is always standard with express transportation. Preparing a total price takes too long. An additional advantage is that the price is often the same regardless of the size of the shipment. Whether you are sending one letter or several packages, the van must drive the same miles. This of course applies up to the maximum the van can easily carry.
